If you are an Apple fan but tired of expensive folks like iPhone X, get ready to welcome a mini iPhone dubbed as iPhone SE2 at an affordable range.
The pioneer model of the SE series of iPhones was introduced in early 2016 as a cheaper and trimmed down model. However we did not see the successor in previous year but it is now confirmed to meet iPhone SE2 by the end of second quarter this year.
According to details a Chinese website QQ.com claims that Apple is gearing up to launch iPhone SE2 at the Apple’s own tech show Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2018 scheduled to be held in June this year.
Rumors are there that the upcoming iPhone SE2 may bring a smaller display of 4-inch or 4.2-inch in size. It is also expected to feature an Apple A10 Fusion chipset; the same one used in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. For memory aspects, we may see 4GB RAM sporting two variants of 32GB and 128GB internal storage.
We can understand that the iPhone SE2 being the lighter version of Apple product will not be able to compete likes of iPhone X or iPhone 8 in any case as there will be no advanced features like 3D depth sensing one and other alike. However, the new entrant may have a fingerprint sensor-equipped Touch ID and home button.
It is likely that Apple may launch iPhone SE 2 with a price tag of around $400 (~PKR 44,000), far less than latest iPhone models. Rumors also suggest that the new smartphone will be manufactured in India.
Stay tuned for more updates.
