Apple has taken the wraps off from the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus along with other Apple products in brand new red colour as the company’s collaboration with the ‘RED’ – an organisation that helps to provide funds to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa.

As told to media, Apple will pass out a percentage of the profits of these products to the organisation to be part of the noble cause. Greg Joswiak, Apple’s Vice President Product Marketing, mentioned in an official press release:

This special edition (PRODUCT) RED iPhone features a stunning red and black color combination and also offers customers the opportunity to make an impact in fighting the spread of HIV and AIDS. Our partnership with RED since 2006, we have given more than $160 million to the grant.

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus Get Red

The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus were originally launched in Gold, Space Grey and Silver colours whereas the new addition of Red will surely attract people not only for charming colour but to generate funds for a noble cause. If the original colours haven’t fascinated you at all, go for the Red with black bezels all around.

Sadly, iPhone X has not been the part of the fresh campaign as Apple has only released red cases (leather and silicone) for the 10th anniversary model along with the older iPhone models. Moreover, Red straps for the Apple Watch have also been marketed.

Pricing and Availability

The new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in Red colour will be rolled out to select markets only later this week. However, all the Red products will be up for grabs through the Apple’s online store starting today.

Order today to be part of the RED campaign with Apple.
