HMD Global – the home of Nokia has quietly unveiled Nokia C2 under the umbrella of Android Go branding. The new device is supposed to be the most affordable smartphone in the market with upgraded specifications than its predecessors. However, you must not expect extraordinary features from a budget device.
Nokia C2 Design and Features
The Nokia C2 does not look much different from its predecessors as far as external appearance is concerned. However, you’ll see a noticeably larger display size than the earlier variants. Like most of the Nokia budget smartphones, this one also comes with a plain matte back and thick bezels around the display. The new Nokia smartphone is built around a large 5.7-inch LCD with HD+ (720p) resolution. The earpiece and selfie camera sit in the thick forehead bezel.
The Nokia C2 runs Android 9.0 Pie Go Edition under the hood and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Unisoc processor paired with 1GB RAM, and 16GB of native expandable storage. The new Nokia device is driven by a 2,800 mAh battery that can charge at 5W via the dated MicroUSB port
As mentioned earlier, the Nokia C2 being a budget smartphone brings an ordinary camera setup. We have a 5MP snapper at the back while the same sensor is employed at the front with a flash.

If you are curious about the price tag for Nokia C2, you’ll have to wait a few more days as the company has yet not shared the pricing details as of now.
