Samsung has kicked-off the year 2018 with the new model of Galaxy A8 equipped with dual front camera lens for the first time by the South Korean manufacturer and the news getting surfaced about the first foldable smartphone to arrive in later part of this year. The story doesn’t end here as Galaxy J2 Pro gets the latest model of 2018.
Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) – Features
The J2 Pro (2018) is the newest entrant to the Samsung’s entry level smartphones line-up that is powered by a Snapdragon 425 chipset featuring a quad-core processor clocking at 1.4 GHz and 1.5 GHz. It features a 5-inch S-AMOLED display with qHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels.
You’ll meet a plastic body in three colour choices: Black, Blue and Gold. The overall dimensions of the Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) measure 143.8 x 72.3 x 8.4mm weighing 153 grams.
The smartphone is shipped with Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed and brings an inbuilt storage of 16GB that can be extended by using 256GB of microSD card on its external storage. Moreover, the Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) owners will receive 15 GB of Samsung Cloud storage for free.
The Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) has a rear-facing camera of 8-megapixel and a frontal camera of 5-megapixel. Both the snappers are quipped LED flash. It is packed with a 2,600mAh battery.
Other prominent features include Private Folder for protecting confidential data, dual account support for social apps and Wi-Fi Convenience that can automatically sense Wi-Fi network and connect to it.
On the connectivity front, the smartphone features like dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm headphone jack, microUSB 2.0 and GPS.
Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) – Pricing and Availability
As mentioned above, the Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) has been found listed on the Samsung’s Vietnam website, with price tag of VND 3,290,000 (~$145 or PKR 16,000). Even though Samsung has not confirmed on it, the new entry-level phone is expected to arrive in other emerging markets in the coming weeks.
