It is HMD Global that has revived the brand name of Nokia with all times favourite feature phone Nokia 3310 earlier this year. Later on, the company introduced even advanced variant enriched with 3G connectivity for better data experience.
It seems that HMD Global is unstoppable in wondering its customers with even more ventures as the fresh reports claim that we’ll see Nokia 3310 with 4G connectivity in near future making the use of veteran 3310 in the most advanced connectivity environment.
According to details, the upcoming variant of Nokia 3310 4G will be running on Yun OS instead of Feature OS used for 2G version or S30+ used for 3G variant of Nokia 3310. The Yun OS is based on AOSP and supports to run some apps that we find on Android.
It means that folks will be enabled to use popular instant messaging apps like WhatsApp on Nokia 3310 4G.
We’ve seen positive response for the revived Nokia 3310 from the masses that used the phone in its early age. That is why HMD Global is confident enough to launch 4G version that may be used by people as the secondary phone. Let us hope that the device might not be expensive when it hits the market.
