The annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 is the upcoming global tech show to be held in Barcelona from 26th February to 1st March. All the manufacturers are getting ready to showcase their upcoming products highlighting their premium and innovative features.

HMD Global, like others, is all set to grab the show with its upcoming Nokia products. The company has released a poster that is actually an invitation to the Nokia unveiling event scheduled to hold on February 25, 2018, a day before the MWC 2018 commences.

The event would take place at the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Arts between 4 pm and 5 pm. The invitation also includes a link for those who are interested to attend the event to register for seat reservation.

Although the poster has no indication of the product to be unveiled but it is expected the event would give rise to another chapter of Nokia smartphones to be surfaced in current year.

Apart from this, the poster seems to suggest Nokia’s launch of a smart home product. However, we anticipate the unveiling of Nokia’s next flagship device will be the main climax of the event among others. Yes, we mean to say the Nokia 9.

Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer HMD Global came on Twitter and hinted about something major the company has planned for the MWC 2018:

Rumors are always there that HMD Global would possibly take wraps off Nokia 1 as well as the global exposure of Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 3310 (4G) and the Nokia 7 that has only been launched in China so far.

If you remember, it was MWC 2017 that witnessed a flurry of smartphones launch by the HMD Global including the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and the redesigned iconic Nokia 3310 feature phone.

Wait and see what HMD Global brings for us at the MWC 2018 this year.
