HMD Global renovated Nokia brand from the Windows Mobile OS to the Android one with the successful entry of Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 so far. Some reports from prominent tech blogs reveal that there could be no more Nokia smartphone this year. However, the early 2018 would see Nokia 2, Nokia 7 and Nokia 9 coming out of the box on the eve of Mobile World Congress (MWC).

According to reports, Nokia 2 will be the first entry level Android device under Nokia label having massive 4,000 mAh battery. Other features of Nokia 2 will be almost similar to any other entry level device in the market. Previously, Nokia 2 was reported to launch in November but the recent Facebook post of an employee who works at business process outsourcing (BPO) company stated that the company will launch three handsets early next year including Nokia 2.

On the contrary, Nokia 9 will be the company’s first flagship in direct competition of the likes of Galaxy Note and Mate series etc. We expect to see a bezel-less and curved edge-to-edge design along with Snapdragon 835 and dual rear cameras by Zeiss incorporated in Nokia 9. On the memory front, it is rumoured to have two variants of 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM with huge internal storage.

We don’t know much about the third device – Nokia 7. We anticipate to have mid-range specs with Nokia 7 as the other two already cover the entry level and flagship arena.

If you remember, Nokia made its comeback At MWC 2017 so wait and see what more is unveiled at the same platform next year.
