As the pre-booking of Honor 7X and Honor 9 Lite was started in Pakistan last week with the news that Huawei and Honor have decided to operate as separate brands in the country. The same has proven true as Honor has launched both smartphones in Pakistan as its first sole project.
According to details, Huawei’s sub brand Honor has become a separate entity in Pakistan and joined hands with Inovi Technologies – a renowned local distributor to reach out to the Honor fans across the country. Meanwhile, Honor has announced to bring more devices in the coming months.
Mr. Chris Sun, the Vice President of Honor in the Middle East and Africa during the launch event said:
Pakistan has immense potential since it is one of the fastest growing markets in the region. The good thing about this market is that 70% of the population is under 30 years of age and a true representation of Honor.
Mr. Zeeshan, CEO of Inovi technologies said in the same event:
We have worked with Huawei in the past and this time we are excited to work with such a young and energetic brand. We are positive and hopeful as the product lineup is promising.
Mr. Denis, the Country head of Honor Pakistan while talking to the media said that the company will work more with the local talent in order to be closer to the heart of their consumers. He further said:
This will also open up the opportunity to put our contribution in the local media and advertising industry. Our approach is aggressive and we are very clear with the roadmap which we have decided with our local partners and hopefully, we will have good results from this market.”
