HTC, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, is all set to release the rumoured flagship HTC U11 on May 16, 2017. Many of rumours floating around about the smartphone just ahead of its launch events which are going to take place in three different destinations including New York (America), London(UK), and Taipei(China).
Early this year HTC unveiled its last flagship device HTC U Ultra with a secondary small display. Although the smartphone carried good enough specifications but it was unable to gain enough attraction of the users. Coming back to upcoming HTC U11, the Company has released an official trailer of this device on its official twitter account.
The HTC U11 is coming with high-end specifications and cool features. Fortunately, we won’t need to guess or hold on to our wallets for long. The full spec sheet was leaked for the U 11 that answers most of our questions about the upcoming smartphone. All of these specifications are rumoured so take it with a grain of salt.

The spec sheet was shared by MySmartPrice and leaves little to the imagination. As we’ve already heard through rumours, the headline is likely the “Edge Sense” feature that allows the phone to be controlled by squeezing its sides.
U 11’s display will house a 5.5-inch QHD panel with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and Dual SIM support. Under the hood sits a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with up to 6 GB RAM and up to 128 GB storage, which is expandable up to 2 TB via a microSD slot. Possibly, there will also be a variant with 64 GB storage and 4 GB worth RAM, which won’t disappoint either.
On the back, there will be an “Ultra Pixel 3” 12 MP camera with f/1.7 aperture, optical image stabilization, and a LED Flash. It is also said to boast “UltraSpeed AF” which could be HTC’s take on laser autofocus. Up front is a bigger 16 MP front sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi ac, 4G LTE, and NFC. The audio prowess will be continued by HTC’s renowned BoomSound technology while USound headphones might be bundled. There’s active noise cancellation during recordings, as well as 3D audio recording.
Apart from being “edge” sensitive, the phone’s body also supports IP57 water and dust resistance. In addition, the phone will also support Quick Charge 3.0. The battery capacity is still unknown but knowing HTC, you can expect it to fall near 3,000 mAh.
