The year 2017 has been amazing for the Chinese tech giant Huawei and its sub-brand Honor as we have seen a number of amazing devices; the latest being the Honor V10 with bezelles display that was sold like hot cake in China in the first flash sale.
In spite of the success story filed, it is interesting to see that Huawei is not resting its oars next year as the company has geared up to bring the next gen P-series with more innovative features. This is what the new leak has revealed.
We are talking about the upcoming P11 series of smartphones having camera as the prime distinction. Since most of the key features have already been introduced in the Mate 10 family and the Honor V10 like full screen display and the Kirin 970 processor.
According to an image posted by Leaker Evan Blass on Twitter, the Huawei P-11 will come with Pro triple-lens Leica cameras with 40MP and 5x hybrid zoom. It will also have a 24MP Pro Selfie Camera with low light enhancement for clearer and sharper details.
Is the next Huawei P-series going to be an imaging powerhouse? A digital artist at one of the company's creative agencies added these "PCE Series" ads to their portfolio — claiming 40MP, 3 lens rear (5x hybrid zoom) + 24MP selfie, all Leica-co-developed. pic.twitter.com/t8w3VlL55L— Evan Blass (@evleaks) December 6, 2017
According to Evan Blass, the image was added to Huawei’s “PCE Series” portfolio by an artist from one of Huawei’s creative agencies. Adding fuel to the fire, Blass claims the images have been removed from the source which generally indicates the info does look legit.
Update: The source material has now been pulled down, which tends to be indicative of its importance and/or legitimacy.— Evan Blass (@evleaks) December 6, 2017
Huawei will also be taking a focus at low-light imaging as the picture also mentions a Pro Night Mode. Using new sensors and optics, the cameras will be able to take in 100% more light for better night photos.
Huawei stands among the pioneers of the early adopters in the recent dual-camera trend, introducing the setup with the Huawei P9 in April 2016. This camera was co-developed with Leica, who Huawei has partnered with for its major flagships’ camera tech ever since. Meanwhile, the AI based improvements being introduced by Huawei will help with scene recognition, auto framing, and mode suggestions for the best results.
As far as the expected release date is concerned, keeping in view the past trend of Huawei we anticipate to wait until Q1, 2018 to find out what Huawei has in stores for the P11.
We are really excited to see a smartphone with such powerful camera feature and expect the series being outstanding among its competitors next year. Do you think the same? Let us know your views about the upcoming P11 in the comment box below.
