Next flagship device by Huawei – whether Huawei P11 or Huawei P20, is not arriving at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018; this is what we have shared with our viewers recently. The same has now been confirmed by the Chinese tech giant as the next P-series flagship will be unveiled in an upcoming event planned to be held in Paris next month.

It has been almost one year since Huawei P10 made its way to the market, therefore entry of the successor is evident but the name confusion still lasts as Huawei has not officially disclosed the device as P11 or P20; as rumoured on tech blogs.

Though, the third largest smartphone manufacturer in the world had not disclosed any details about the upcoming smartphone until now, but we have something solid to talk about. Fresh rumors suggest that the successor of the P10 will be unveiled in Huawei’s own press event on March 27th; almost a month later than the MWC 2018.

Interestingly, Huawei showcased the P10 at the MWC 2017 last year and the Chinese manufacturer was expected to do the same this year but they have decided to delay it a few weeks. While it is confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S9 will grab the MWC 2018, Huawei’s delay seems like a strategic move to avoid having to compete with the S9’s launch.

Rumored Features of Next P Series Flagship

Just like the predecessor P10’s lineup, the next P-series flagship device is expected to arrive in three variants – P11/P20, P11/P20 Plus, and P11/P20 Lite. The Plus variant is said to bring a huge bezelless display having notch on top like the iPhone X.

There have been several rumours circulating on the web about the phone’s design, some unofficial schematics show a triple-primary camera setup this time. It’s unclear what each sensor will do, but some experts suggest that the tri-cam set up will collectively take an image and process it into a 40 MP size.

Huawei has not officially unveiled any of the specifications so far but rumors are there that the Huawei P20 will be powered by company’s own latest Kirin 970 chipset. It is obvious that the device will possess 18:9 bezelless panel to follow the market trend and seeing past devices, Huawei might decide to use a 2K LCD panel.

We’ll certainly have to wait till the flagship is made official to know the real name and other specifications. As the unveiling date is confirmed, we anticipate to see gusts of reports to surface with more authentic specifications.

We hope you’ll be with u to follow the story.
