Although Huawei is in the headlines for the upcoming Mate 10 on October 16th but the company continues to bring other products to different markets like recently unveiled Galaxy J2 2017 for India. The latest news gets surfaced from Russia where Huawei Russia has announced to bring successor to the last year’s Honor 6C; this time it is Honor 6C Pro.

In the first look 6C pro seems having no difference in design from its successor in any way. It features the same bland looking front and back with a unibody metal shell. However, the front carries plastic. The device incorporates a 5.2 inch HD (1280 x 720) resolution IPS LCD screen on the front with a fingerprint sensor on the back, underneath the camera.

The Honor 6C Pro is a mid-range device sporting 4G connectivity running on Android 7.0 Nougat with Huawei’s own Emotion UI 5.1 skin on the top. The 6C Pro features an octa-core MediaTek MT 6750 processor under the hood paired with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, that too expandable via a hybrid microSD and SIM card slot.

There is a 13 MP main shooter at the back accompanied by an LED flash. Up front we get an 8 MP selfie sensor. The device carries a 3,000 mAh battery having no fast charging support.

Price and Availability

As mentioned in opening lines, the Huawei Honor 6C Pro was recently announced in Russia and is currently available in China as Huawei Honor V9 Play with price tag of CNY 1,000 (~PKR 16,000).

Although there is no news of 6C Pro coming to Pakistan at the moment but we expect its exposure to other markets soon after the sensation of Mate 10 in coming weeks. Keep visiting these pages to know more.
