Huawei has come up with a remarkable addition to the mid-range line-up; unveiling the Huawei Honor 7X. The Chinese tech giant has brought successor to the highly successful Honor 6X earlier released this year. There are numerous upgrades making the Honor 7X a notable device in the market.

There is a significant drift in the design aspect of 7X from the 6X; horizontal dual camera setup and iPhone-like antenna lines at the rear. Moving towards the front, it is evident that Huawei has adopted the latest trends and bent towards the customers’ choice. Honor 7X incorporates a large 5.93 inch, edge to edge, 18:9 aspect ratio display having an LTPS IPS LCD Panel with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080) resolution.

The Honor 7X is a dual SIM device by default running on Android 7.0 Nougat with Huawei’s home grown Emotion UI 5.1 skin. Under the hood, we see Huawei’s own octa core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor powering up the device paired with 4 GB of RAM with 32/64/128 GB of internal storage. It also sports the microSD card which occupied the second SIM slot.

Huawei brings dual camera setup at the rear featuring 16 MP and 2 MP sensors with phase detection, autofocus and an LED flash. The front camera is pretty much the same as the 6X with an 8 MP shooter.

The battery hasn’t changed at all with the Honor 7X having the same 3,340 mAh battery unit from the 6X. The phone still comes with a microUSB port instead of USB type-C which seems like an odd choice.

Price and Availability

Huawei has planned to bring Honor 7X to the home market of China in first phase on October 17th; a day after the Mate 10 gets revealed. The smartphone will be available in diverse colours of Aurora Blue, Gold, and Black.

According to reports revealed so far, Huawei Honor 7X will make its way to the shelves starting from CNY 1,300 (~Rs. 20,790) for the 32 GB model, CNY 1,700 (~Rs. 27,190) for 64 GB and CNY 2,000 (~Rs. 31,990) for the 128 GB variant.

Although there is no word on its international exposure at the moment, we expect to see Honor 7X in major markets including Pakistan by the end of November this year. Keep visiting these pages to know exact release date of 7X for Pakistan.
