Huawei is all set to bring successor to the flagship device Huawei P10 that was believed to be named Huawei P11, will now reportedly be called Huawei P20. This was reveled by a renowned leakster, Roland Quandt in his recent tweet. He further brings the inside story that the Huawei may bring P20 in three variants; Huawei P20, P20 Plus and P20 Lite.
The report further claims that all those three variants have their own codenames and colours:
- Huawei P20 is codenamed “Emily” and will be available in Ceramic Black and Twilight colors
- Huawei P20 Plus is codenamed “Charlotte” and will be available in Ceramic Black and Twilight colors
- Huawei P20 Lite is codenamed “Anne” and will be avilable in Midnight Black, Klein Blue and Sakura Pink colors

Earlier, it was reported that Huawei has trademarked the name Huawei P20 for the upcoming flagship device while the official website was seen to have P11 and P12 in the listing.
Later on, it was revealed that Huawei P11 will be made available in the UK, Taiwan and Hong Kong while the Huawei P20 will be the US-specific device. Now, it seems that the company has finalized to go with the P20 series all around.
Though, the device was expected to be unveiled at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona but fresh information suggests otherwise. As Samsung has confirmed its upcoming flagship duo of Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ to be unveiled a day before the tech show on February 25, Huawei, Xiaomi and LG have decided not to bring their big guns in the same event.
Huawei P20 – Features
As far as the design features of Huawei P20 are concerned, it is expected to come with thinner bezels than its predecessor – Huawei P10. The latest Kirin 970 AI chipset is rumoured to power the device that would run the latest EMUI 8.0 which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
