We earlier came to know that Huawei Honoer V10 will be unveiled on December 5 but it seems that the Chinese manufacturer has decided to bring the new device a week earlier on November 28. Although the Honor series is well known for its mid-range specs but the V10 may change the trend and become the first flagship phone in Honor series.
The Honor V10
The Huawei Honor V10 is expected to come with almost same specifications as the Mate 10 Pro; the same 6.0-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, most probably an 18:9 display as most of the flagship phones offered this year.
Another hype is associated with the memory aspects as some rumors claim that the V10 will bring either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and if it comes with 8, it will be even higher than the Mate 10 Pro. However, be sure that the new device will not become burden on your pockets even carrying higher specs.
The chipset is also going to be the same Kirin 970 with Octa-core (4×2.4 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU and Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. The Mate 10 Pro did not have a Micro SD card slot but the upcoming Honor V10 offers a Micro SD card slot to expand storage features.
If you want to hear about the camera, we anticipate to see the same dual 20 MP +12 MP lens with f/1.6 aperture and laser + phase detection autofocus as of Mate 10. The front camera is expected to be an 8MP unit and we are expecting great results from the Honor flagship’s cameras.
The Honor V10 is also expected to come with the same 4,000 mAh battery which will run for more than 2 days on a single charge. Moreover, it will come with Android 8.0 out of the box just like the Mate 10 series and will get regular Android updates for at least 2 years.
Huawei Honor V10 is expected to come with a price tag of $450 (~PKR 47,300) and if it offers the expected specifications in this price, it’ll be a great deal.
