Huawei is all set to bring another powerful member of their mid-range line-up. This time it is Huawei Nova 2s that has surfaced with its leaked photos on major tech blogs.

Earlier, there were rumors that Nova 2s may become official by the end of this year but Huawei has now officially confirmed that the smartphone will be unveiled on December 7th; this is what the official invites say.



Expected Features

The Nova 2s resembles in design features with that of the recently launched the Honor V10. The new entrant is expected to come with 18:9 aspect ratio display like we have seen for the Huawei Honor V10 along with the front mounted fingerprint sensor.

Most interestingly, Huawei has enriched the features of Nova 2s by introducing dual lens setup both for the front and rear cameras making it perfect choice for the photography lovers. The front side of the phone is expected to feature 20MP + 16MP dual selfie snappers whereas its rear side is pegged to house a pair of 20MP snappers.

The Nova 2s is rumoured to arrive with a 6-inch display that will carry support for Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. We expect to see Kirin 960 chipset powering up the device along with 4GB of RAM ensuring smooth performance of the smartphone in daily usage.

Huawei has promised to bring Nova 2s running on EMUI 8.0 skinned with the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. It is also expected to come with other features like NFC, inbuilt Hi-Fi chip and facial recognition. Recent leaks have revealed that the Nova 2s will be arriving with a glass rear.

Pricing and Availability
