As we are waiting for the iconic Nokia 3310 to be in our hands, a fake Nokia 3310 has been spotted. Remember Nokia had unveiled the re-born 3310 at the Mobile World Congress 2017. Nokia will soon be launching its 3 mid-range smartphones in the market but the hype regarding the revived Nokia 3310 still being a fantasy.
It is assumed that the Nokia 3310 will go on sale later this month but reports around the globe claim to witness a clone of Nokia 3310. The fake Nokia 3310 looks very much like the original one and while the one released earlier looked fake, the latest one is very hard to distinguish as it has the company logo blatantly displayed on the front.
How to Identify the Real and Fake Nokia 3310
You need not to worry as there are still ways to identify the original 3310 from the fake one. For instance, the clones have a smaller screen and do not run on the Series 30 UI. There are little changes in the keypad as well that can only be identified if you’ve seen the original one first.
The Fake Nokia 3310 has appeared on some e-commerce sites in Pakistan as well like symbios.pk selling with price tag of Rs. 3000. Be noted that the original Nokia 3310 may start from Rs. 8000 at least.
Nokia 3310 has a 1200 battery that is expected to last for up to 22 hours with a 30 days standby time. The feature phone does not have WiFi or 4G support but that could all change soon thanks to Qualcomm’s new chips in the making.
The phone runs on S30+ OS and has the famous snake game installed as well. It sports a 2MP rear camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 2.4 inches QVGA display. Nokia 3310 can support up to 16GB internal storage with an SD card onboard.
