Apple is all set to announce a successor for the compact iPhone SE very soon that went official in 2016. It is expected that the new entrant would surely be named as iPhone SE 2020. Rumors are there that the upcoming iPhone model may go official on April 15th.
However, 9to5 Mac has claimed that Apple will start receiving orders for the iPhone SE 2020 starting from next week. Moreover, the blog is confident enough that the device will not be debuting as iPhone 9 but it will go official as “iPhone SE” referred to as 2020 version.
iPhone SE 2020 Key Features
The iPhone SE 2020 will be powered by the same Apple A13 Bionic chipset that was used to fuel iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max from last year. That means that users would experience the augmented reality (AR) features.
It is also stated by popular tech blogs that the upcoming iPhone SE 2020 will bear resemblance with the iPhone 8. However, the new device would not offer 3D Touch, therefore it is expected to deliver better battery life. Moreover, users would enjoy the good old Touch ID sensor.
As per further details, the iPhone SE 2020 would bring three storage options to choose from 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. Likewise, the new Apple device will be made available in three color editions that is White, Black and PRODUCT (Red).
However, the company will be selling five kinds of cases for the iPhone SE 2020 such as black silicone, white silicone, red leather, black leather and midnight blue leather.

Although, there is no official announcement for iPhone SE 2020 so far but a well-known supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had previously stated that the iPhone SE 2020 will be arriving with a starting price tag of $399.
