Apple’s 10th anniversary model – iPhone X continues to mesmerize the world with its top-notch and unique features of full-screen display and Face ID. The latest hit being the Time Magazine that has listed iPhone X among the top 25 inventions of 2017.

Some other interesting inventions included in the list are:

  • Glasses That Give Sight to the Blind
  • Elevators That Move Beyond Up and Down
  • Mugs That Heat Your Coffee Just Right
  • A Hijab that Empowers Muslim Athletes.
  • Drones That Put Selfie Sticks to Shame
  • A VR Headset That Stands Alone
  • Wristbands That Help Babies Get a Better Start

The Magazine labelled iPhone X as “A Smarter Smartphone” on its latest ranking page. The intro starts with a statement of Dan Riccio, Apple’s senior vice president of hardware engineering, saying: “I look at the design as something we really wanted to do since day one.”

Although the device has faced a lot of controversies since it came on surface but its demand seems to be never-ending one. People queued up outside Apple stores to get their own X; though putting negative impact on iPhone 8 sales.

Bloomberg earlier reported that Apple could not fulfil the demand for the flagship device which is why they decided to reduce the accuracy of the Face ID, something Apple denied.

Whether we agree or not that the iPhone X deserves to be in the top 25 technological inventions of the year, one thing is certain — the hype it has generated around the world brings a lot of attention towards the tech industry.
