The iPhone SE 2, the only mid-range smartphone by Apple, has been appearing in rumors for long and scheduled to be unveiled at the WWDC 2018 tech show. Meanwhile, Macotakara, a Japanese tech blog has shared a hands-on-video of the alleged iPhone SE 2 that looks like an iPhone X except for the bulky and squarish body of the olden days.
Leaked Video of iPhone SE 2 – Fake or Real?
Interestingly, the video describes iPhone SE 2 sporting an iPhone X-like notched design, minimal bezels on the sides and bottom along with vertically stacked dual rear camera setup. Moreover, the device seems to be running the gesture-based version of iOS that made its maiden appearance on the 10th anniversary model last year.
While watching the video closely, we consider the device being displayed as not the real iPhone SE 2 but an iPhone ‘clone’. We have a strong reason for our claim as a number of Android-based iPhone clones got surfaced from China in recent months having the notched design and iPhone X-like physical appearance. While the alleged video of iPhone SE 2 is originated from the same country hence the device could possibly be another clone of iPhone X.
Although we’ve come across multiple rumors about the second generation of iPhone SE device but none of those have ever indicated the design features of iPhone SE 2 resembling with iPhone X. Even the original iPhone SE had borrowed specs from iPhone 6S from 2015. Following the same trend, the iPhone SE 2 is expected to include some of the features of the iPhone 7 but it is unlikely to come with flagship specs that are available on the iPhone X.
iPhone SE 2 at WWDC 2018
As indicated earlier, Apple is all set to hold the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2018 in June this year that may include the official unveiling of iPhone SE 2 – the second generation of affordable iPhone device.
It is also heard that the Cupertino based tech giant may also bring three iPhone devices in September this year including two of them crossing 6-inch limit. All those models are expected to feature OLED panels with Full Screen designs and top notch featuring the TrueDepth Camera system for Face ID.
Therefore, it is better to wait for the tech event and know the legitimacy of the video that gets surfaced three months earlier. Share your views in the Comments Section below.
