Huawei surprised everyone by embedding a triple camera setup on the rear of Huawei P20 Pro earlier this year. Later on Samsung did the same with its Galaxy A7 2018 while others are planning to cross the barriers with more than three rear cameras. One such example is Nokia 9 with five rear cameras while Lenovo Z5 Pro quad camera setup is also teased by company’s Vice president.
Lenovo’s VP Once Again
Mr. Chang Cheng, Vice President Lenovo, is the person who has shared a poster of Lenovo Z5 Pro on Weibo with four cameras arranged in a square setup on the rear. Sitting in the middle of the four camera sensors is a small LED flash. The poster reveals that the phone will be launched in October; though the exact date isn’t mentioned. It also adds that the cameras will have AI features.
Not to mention that the same phone was officially teased by the VP a few weeks ago. It is expected to come with a bezel-less display like the OPPO Find X but will have a mechanical slider instead of a motor.
Lenovo’s Bad Reputation Makes Us Shaky
Though the teaser image clearly suggests four cameras in a single arrangement of 2×2, still we can’t say it with surety as the company is known to make big claims in the beginning while launches something entirely different in the end.
If you remember, back in May this year Mr. Cheng posted several teasers that showcased that the Lenovo Z5 would be a total bezel-less smartphone, however the smartphone was a total disappointment for having a large bezelled design on its launch.
So just wait for the release of this upcoming smartphone and then we will see that how the teaser gave accurate information about the device.
