LG, the renowned brand from South Korea, introduced ‘ThinQ’ version of its LG V30S smartphone back in February this year packed with plenty of AI features improving performance of the last year’s model. Our favourite leaker Evan Blass has come up with the news that LG would bring another ThinQ smartphone and this time it would be the LG G7 being rumoured since long.

Meanwhile, LG has confirmed to the South Korean media that LG G7 ThinQ will be announced at the end of this month and it will be hitting the shelves by mid-May.

LG G7 ThinQ – Expected Features

The LG G7 adding ThinQ to its brand name is expected to bring various AI features such as AI Cam and QLens. Reminding you that the AI Cam can identify the subject you are looking at and recommend the best shooting modes like portrait, food, pet, landscape, city, flower, sunrise and sunset. Whereas, the QLens can scan QR codes and bar codes sporting real-time language translation.

It is also rumoured that the LG G7 ThinQ will be featuring MLCD+ display that consumes 40 percent less energy than a typical LCD panel and delivers up to 800-nits brightness. However, LG has confirmed to the South Korean media that the smartphone will be carrying a cheaper price tag despite the fact that an OLED panel will feature the LG G7 ThinQ.

As far as the design features are concerned, the LG G7 ThinQ will bring the Power Key at the right edge of the phone while the Volume Rocker will be housed at the left edge along with another physical button supposed to provide quick access to Google Assistant, QLens and QVoice.

It is also said that the upcoming LG device may be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset accompanied by 6GB of RAM in two storage options of 64GB and 128GB. The LG G7 ThinQ may also be equipped with 16MP dual rear camera setup with f/1.5 or f/1.6 aperture.
