Although smartphones, and that too the high-end devices, have become the fashion symbol of today’s life but some manufacturers bring ultra-premium devices that hardly anyone can afford to buy (unless if it has a certain fruit logo to appeal everyone).
Following the same trend, LG – a South Korean brand, has just brought special edition of its latest flagship device LG V30. The new limited edition is called LG V30 Signature Edition that is made exclusively available for the Korean local market.
The device brings a number of upgraded features over the regular model and an unmatched price tag too. And of course your name engraved on the back panel will make it priceless!
There will also be special after-sales customer service for buyers in addition to a premium package that includes a pair of Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H5 earphones and a pair of wired Bang & Olufsen earphones.
The phone is V30 indeed but has a nicer looking body with a few additions. The LG V30 Signature Edition features a zirconium ceramic body giving it a tough crack resistant body. It still has the same 6.0 inch QHD+ P-OLED panel with IP 68 water and dust resistance. It retains the MIL-STD-810 certification against shocks, drops and various other tough conditions.
The LG Signature Edition is a dual SIM device by default running on Android Oreo with LG UX on top. The smartphone offers more storage and upgraded RAM than the regular one, rest is the same as previously released V30. It is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor and has 6 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Despite the massive storage capacity it brings an option of microSD card slot for up to 400 GB of extra storage.
We know that the V30’s camera didn’t succeed to get favorable reviews in the market but that doesn’t mean it was bad by any means. Therefore, the Signature Edition retains the same Dual 16 MP+13 MP cameras with f/1.6, OIS, 3-axis, laser & phase detection autofocus for the first sensor and a f/1.9 aperture for the other one. On the front it has a regular 5 MP camera.
Pricing and Availability
As mentioned earlier, the LG V30 Signature Edition is exclusively available for South Korean customers in black and white colours only. Moreover, LG has announced to bring only 300 units of the exorbitant smartphone available.
The limited units mean you are probably just buying exclusivity; perhaps the zirconium ceramic body engraved with your name or logo.
