HMD Global is all set to celebrate its first anniversary of Nokia brand at the MWC 2018 with another addition to its Android line-up. The Finnish firm marked the eve of MWC 2017 with the revamped Nokia 3310. The journey continued and we saw Nokia 3310 3G and Nokia 3310 4G till now along with many other Android based smartphones.

The MWC 2018 will be kicked-off from February 25th in Barcelona, Spain and Nokia reportedly aims to unveil Nokia 1, Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 9. However, fresh reports bring more details of Nokia 7 Plus suggesting to be on the list.

Nokia 7 Plus – Specifications

The first time we learnt of the Nokia 7 Plus was last year when the Nokia Camera app was unpacked. Inside the app was a list of Nokia phones, some of which have already been released and others that are yet to be announced. It was then followed by a Geekbench listing last week.

According to leaked information, Nokia 7 Plus may bring 6-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio making it easy to use larger device single-handedly. Depending on how soon it launches, the Nokia 7 Plus may be first full-screen smartphone by HMD Global.

Unlike Nokia 7 that was equipped with a single rear 16MP rear camera, the Plus variant is said to have dual camera setup at the rear comprising of 12MP + 13MP Carl Zeiss lens. Whereas, the selfie shooter is rumoured to bring another 16MP lens on the front.

Other features rumoured so far include a metal body, a ceramic rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 360° spatial audio technology (Nokia OZO) with 3 audio capturing microphones, 18W quick charge support and Android 8.0 Oreo pre-installed with planned upgrade to Android 8.1.

Though, fresh report does not mention storage capacity of the device but thanks to Geekbench we already know that the Nokia 7 Plus will be powered by the Snapdragon 660 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. However, for the power backup features, we only know that the smartphone will accompany a 9V/2A quick charge on its specs sheet.

Likewise, no words for pricing of the device but we anticipate to see a price tag of about $300 when it gets launched.
