Famous leakers and tech blogs are always there to discuss numerous features of the upcoming and long-awaited flagship smartphone by HMD Global; named as the Nokia 9. The latest high quality renders of the upcoming venture show a stunning 5.9-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a unique five rear camera setup on the rear.

This has been revealed by two of the famous leakers, 91Mobiles and Onleaks, through a 360-degree render video and high quality images. This vivid set of leaks give a better idea about the design features of the upcoming Nokia 9 that is expected to be released into the markets early next year.

Nokia 9 – Rumored Features

Considering these leaks authentic, we come to know that the Nokia 9 is expected to come with an 18:9 full-screen notch-less display spanning over 5.9-inches. On the rear of the smartphone, we get a 5-lens camera setup, each presumably for different focal lengths. The camera setup is Carl Zeiss branded and the phone is likely to take the brand name as Nokia 9 PureView.

The concept of putting more than one lenses in the smartphones isn’t new. The dual-lens setup consisting of a wide-angle lens and a portrait lens has now even made it to the middle-tier smartphones. The OEMs have now started testing new horizons to improve the smartphones’ camera features. Huawei very recently came up with a three-lens matrix setup on the Huawei Mate 20 while Samsung introduced a set of 4 lenses on the rear of Galaxy A9; now is the turn of HMD Global to win the race with five camera setup on Nokia 9.

Other leaked details about the phone mention a 5.9″ QHD+ resolution 19:9 aspect ratio display. There is no capacitive fingerprint sensor on the Nokia 9, instead, it uses an under-display version. There is no notch on this, thankfully, and it has a single selfie camera. It lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, with a single USB-C port at the bottom. Also, it features a glass back, with support for wireless charging.

On the inside, the Nokia 9 will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. As for its battery, it will come with a 4,150 mAh unit, which is impressive for a flagship.

It must be noted that these design features of Nokia 9 are reportedly based on leaks from third party sources and nothing could be said with authenticity until Nokia itself makes the smartphone public. Nokia 9 flagship smartphone
