Although we are a few months away from the OnePlus 6 to make its debut but several leaks have surfaced focusing its unique features. Meanwhile, we have come across another leak that brings more information about the upcoming device; mainly about design and in-built features.
OnePlus 6 – Leaked Specs
The fresh leak claims that OnePlus 6 will feature a 6.28-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels having 18:9 aspect ratio.On the software end, we’ll have Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box along with company’s own Oxygen OS custom interface running on top.
The OnePlus 6 may be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship processor Snapdragon 845 clocking at 2.7GHz. Just reminding you that it is the same SoC we have seen in almost all of the flagship smartphones announced this year. Whereas, the device is rumoured to support 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage with no words on expandable storage so far.
Coming to the camera department, OnePlus 6 is reported to bring dual camera setup at the rear comprising of a 16MP primary sensor and a 20MP secondary one with f/1.7 aperture on both lenses. These are the same camera specs that we have seen for the earlier OnePlus 5T. However, the selfie shooter is limited to a mighty 20MP lens on the front equipped with wide-angle selfies.
OnePlus 6 will be fuelled by a 3,450mAh battery and we expect that it will support the company’s own fast charging technology — Dash Charging.
Although, some leaks suggest that the upcoming OnePlus 6 may support 3D facial recognition but it won’t be as sophisticated as Face ID on iPhone X. The phone is also expected to carry support for super-fast LTE gigabit connectivity.
While the new leak is limited to one variant of the smartphone with 6GB/128GB memory combination but an early leak claimed that the highest model may bring 8GB of RAM and 256B of native storage with an expected price tag of $749 (~PKR 86,500).
