We’ve seen a number of Chinese brands adopting Apple’s unique feature of top notch introduced in iPhone X that housed front mounted sensors along with camera lens. As copying a big brand for non-popular names doesn’t matter but when it comes to the well-known names like OnePlus it seems truly odd.

OnePlus 6 Design Features

Keeping in view the usability of notch feature, we feel that it may become a common feature of the upcoming devices after Apple setting the precedence. We mentioned OnePlus in the above lines because the ‘Flagship Killer’ is said to bring successor of OnePlus 5 in couple of months dubbed as OnePlus 6 sporting an iPhone X-like notch (though smaller in size); if the new leaked images proven true.

The image of OnePlus 6 leaked by ITHome reveals a smaller notch in a bezelless screen, housing the camera and earpiece on the top. Although it’s not easy to observe in the image but when you look closely you can clearly notice the same.

The image showcases the alleged OnePlus 6 from both front and rear sides. The front screen turned on and reveals the model number P7819. The leak further suggests that the upcoming smartphone will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo while having a combo of 6GB RAM and 64GB native storage.

The rear side of the smartphone highlights a vertically stacked dual-camera setup with a fingerprint sensor right below it; just like Samsung Galaxy S9+. Then, in typical OnePlus style, the company’s logo appears right on the centre of the back.

Some critics consider the leak as the fake one arguing on the memory features that is considerably lower than the OnePlus 5T (8GB/128GB); so how come a newer version will rely on lower specs. It is also known for OnePlus keeping the final design as ‘secret’ till the time of launch, therefore we take the leak as a whistle that sounds good for the next Flagship Killer.

As of now, we don’t have more information about the upcoming OnePlus 6 except for that the smartphone may debut by the end of second quarter this year.
