OPPO, the Chinese brand known for powerful camera specs, has decided to launch new mid-range device to Pakistan after it has made its way to China and India. This has been confirmed by the twitter handle of OPPO Pakistan.

OPPO A83 – Features
The OPPO A83 has ditched the fingerprint scanner completely in favour of its Face Unlock feature that is claimed to track 128 unique feature points of the user’s face and unlock the device within 0.18 seconds.
The device is equipped with the new trendy panel of edge-to-edge display with 18:9 aspect ratio and very thin bezels. Moreover, the device is pre-loaded with its Artificial Intelligence Beauty Recognition technology to enhance group and selfie shots; like OPPO F5.
The OPPO MA83 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) LCD display and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device measures 150.5×73.1×7.7mm in overall dimension while it weighs 143 grams. Powering the internals is a 3,090mAh battery.
The dual-SIM supported OPPO A83 runs Color OS 3.2-based on top of Android 7.1 Nougat. The device for Indian customers comes with an octa-core MediaTek MT6763Tprocessor clocked at 2.5GHz to power up the device paired with 3GB of RAM. The phone also features 32GB inbuilt storage expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).
In terms of connectivity, the Oppo A83 comes with options including 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 /b/g/n, GPS, Micro-USB, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Wi-Fi Direct. Sensors on board include proximity sensor, accelerometer, and compass.
