OPPO – one of emerging smartphone brands from China has enjoyed a very successful year 2017 with a number of camera-centric devices that witnessed positive response from selfie enthusiast youth. The brand has come up with a duo of near-bezelless design smartphones to sum up the current year named OPPO A75 and OPPO A75s.
Both the devices come with a full-screen design and have almost similar specifications except for a minor difference in storage options. The OPPO A75 & A75s sport a 6-inch Full-Screen display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. In addition, the A75 and A75s measure 156.5 x 76 x 7.5mm, weighing in at 152g.
The duo are powered by the MediaTek Helio P23 (MT6763T) chipset. The processor is backed by 4GB of RAM on both smartphones while the A75 packs a 32GB and the OPPO A75s a 64GB native storage. The smartphones run on Android 7.1 Nougat-based Color OS 3.
OPPO is well known as the Camera Brand in the smartphones market and the same stands true for the duo of A75 as well. Both the devices are equipped with a 16MP rear shooter and more powerful 20MP lens on the front along with AI face recognition features that compliments the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for unlocking the smartphones.
The OPPO A75 & A75s come with connectivity features such as WiFi 2.4/5GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS support, Bluetooth 4.2 and OTG function. The smartphones are packed with a 3,200mAh battery to keep the lights on.
Pricing & Availability
OPPO has made the A75 and A75s available for Taiwanese market in Black and Gold colours with price tags of NTD 10,990 ($365, ~PKR 40,350) and NTD 11,990 ($400, ~PKR 44,240) respectively. However, there is no indication of exposure of the twins of A75 to other markets at the moment.
