Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services, Murad Saeed has inaugurated the Pakistan Post Mobile Application in a bid to address complaints immediately and revamp postal services for the better.

The mobile application will provide a range of services like Complaint Handling, Real-Time Tracking, E-commerce Delivery, Parcel Collection, Tariff, Post Office Locations, Postal Codes and other information about postal services.

The Pakistan Post Mobile App enables users to file a complaint with an assurance that it will be addressed duly. Talking to media persons after the launch of the mobile application, the minister said:

“We are committed to taking complaints seriously for improvement of services and performance of the department”.

The minister also highlighted the accessibility of the state-owned postal service with its staff strength, footprints and over a century old legacy and credibility, saying that its postman visits almost every household of the country, including areas beyond anyone’s reach.


Murad Saeed also announced a pilot project for micro-finance loan disbursement of “Khushhali Bank” through Pakistan Post. He briefed about future plans of Pakistan Post which would be well matched with the contemporary needs of existing times, including stepping into the E-commerce business.

Pakistan Post has the capacity and commitment to deliver for online vendors for their cash on delivery products with proof of delivery and prompt reconciliation of their bills.
