We all remember the original Nokia 3310 as the most iconic phone of all times – and rightly so. It was durable, long-lasting and an overall perfect phone for the users. Its ruggedness was very well known. It was so popular that more than 126 million models were sold out in 2000s.

Here comes the breaking news about the re-birth of Nokia 3310 as the HMD Global have unveiled the re-imagined Nokia 3310 for 2017 in the Mobile World Congress at Barcelona, Spain.

Re-Birth of Nokia 3310

The Nokia 3310 has come back with camera and bright colours all around. Unlike the original feature phone Nokia 3310, with the new one we get Nokia’s Series 30+ software, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera and a microSD card slot.

If you compare the revised specs of the old guy with today’s smartphone, it will be unfair because the specs available on the revised Nokia 3310 are very modest but itself is the beauty of a feature phone. We should remember that the new 3310 isn’t targeting the customers looking for a flagship smartphone!

The re-born version of Nokia 3310 has been kept smaller, thinner and lighter too.
The colors available are very lively such as red, bright yellow, dark blue etc. However, due to its shape and form factor, you’ll be instantly able to recognize it as a Nokia phone. It’s also pretty light weight, coming in at just 79.6g.

As for the phone’s running time, you get 1,200 mAh of removable battery, closing enough to the capacity available in most entry-level smartphones of today. Nokia claims that the Nokia 3310 will be able to stay alive for 31 days of standby. You’ll also be able to get through 51 hours of MP3 playback, 39 hours of FM radio playback and 22 hours of talk time.

Oh and, let’s not forget that it also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a feature that isn’t available on some $700+ flagship smartphones nowadays.

And last but not the least, the new Nokia 3310 will also come with an updated version of the iconic game, Snake. You may access the game on Facebook Messenger under the games tab.

Priced at EUR 49, the re-birth of Nokia 3310 comes in around PKR 5,500.
