Xiaomi has revamped its previous Redmi Note 7 and launched a new version named as Redmi Note 7 Pro equipped with more powerful chipset under the hood and better camera setup than the previous one. Everything else is kept the same in design features, though priced a little higher.

Redmi Note 7 Pro Features

The Redmi Note 7 Pro offers the exact same build as its non-pro sibling Redmi Note 7, with Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back sides having a plastic cushion in-between. There’s also a beautiful looking gradient design on the back and the Redmi logo at the bottom.

The Note 7 Pro brings a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display on the front having 2340 x 1080 pixels’ resolution and a decent screen to body ratio along with a water drop notch on top.

The new entrant is also a dual SIM supported handset that runs Android 9.0 Pie under the hood with Xiaomi’s proprietary MIUI 10 skin laying on top. Redmi has outfitted the Note 7 Pro with a Snapdragon 675 processor that is considered slightly more powerful than the one in the regular Note 7 (Snapdragon 660).

In addition, you get a chance to choose the handset that suits your daily usage from two different memory options of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage or 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. However, a microSD card slot is also there in both variants sporting up to 256GB additional storage.

The photography department of the Pro version has seen a notable upgrade than the regular one with dual sensor on the rear comprising of a 48MP Sony IMX586 camera paired with a 5MP sensor. However, the selfie cam brings a 13MP lens on the front.

Xiaomi has kept the same power house of 4,000 mAh for the Pro variant as seen in the regular Note 7 model along with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging support. However, no wireless charging is there as that feature is usually reserved for higher-end phones.
