We are heading towards the MWC 2018 and the super night of February 25th when Samsung will unveil the flagship device of the year – Galaxy S9. Though we’ll meet the S9 duo in less than a week from now but the South Korean tech giant has revamped its default ringtone “Over the Horizon”. The popular ringtone has become landmark for Galaxy devices since 2011.
Samsung has tendency to rearrange its default ringtone every year to mirror the aesthetic transformation of the devices themselves. We came across jazzy and youthful version last year with Galaxy S8 and here it is the classic version for the Galaxy S9. The new variety for the 2018 model is developed by the Icelandic composer Petur Jonsson; can be seen in the video below.
The new melody has mesmerized the Samsung fans and they are quite anxious to hear it ringing on their device. It is really more soothing and heart fluttering sound the Galaxy has ever brought over the time. Some of you may take it as a romantic music while the others may feel like a cure for the broken heart!
Samsung has explained the ringtone in the following words:
Listening to this year’s piece by Jónsson, you will find that the notes arouse the purest, fundamental elements of the human sentiment that often remain hidden in our daily lives. In this way, the latest version of Samsung’s brand sound has the power to relax the mind and heal the soul, thus resonating with all who hear it, regardless of their age.
Well, for me it is not only the ringtone that is worth hearing but the beauty of Nordic Nature has been the real eye catching factor in the video. Don’t you think so? Post your views in the Comment Section below.
