Samsung, the largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, is reportedly launching a duo of its economical handsets Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J4 in Pakistan. General specifications and features of both devices have recently been listed on Samsung Pakistan’s official website.
Not to mention that both these smartphones have already been made official in India with reasonable features and specifications. However, the Galaxy J6 stands out to the front with its bezelless Super AMOLED Infinity display and gorgeous-looking colors than its sibling, considering the price difference we have there.
Considering the Galaxy J6 as the main device of the upcoming duo the device has also been touted in a recent ad, especially made for Pakistan with the lead title of “Galaxy J6 and J4 – Coming Soon in Pakistan”.
The Samsung Galaxy J6 runs Android 8.0 Oreo based on Samsung Experience skin and features a 5.6-inch super AMOLED Infinity display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and a moderate resolution of 1480×720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the Exynos 7870 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner on the back.As far as camera department of the device is concerned, the Galaxy J6 packs a 13-MP rear camera with an aperture of f/1.9. While the front shooter for selfies is an 8-MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.9. Both back and front cameras come along LED flash to take bright pictures in the night.
The device comes with a powerful 3000mAh battery unit in black, orchid grey and gold color options but a purple color is apparently also coming. Considering its launching price in India, we can expect the Galaxy J6 to cost around PKR 24,000 in Pakistan. The phone is quite expensive in a way that other manufacturers are offering a much better device in this price range like the most recently launched Huawei Y9 2018.
Being the younger sibling of the duo, Samsung Galaxy J4 can be truly called as the next budget phone of Samsung in Pakistan that runs on Android Oreo out of the box, featuring a 5.5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. The phone comes with 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage. The phone also brings a fingerprint scanner on the front home button.Talking about cameras, the smartphone also features a 13-MP rear camera sensor along with an LED flash, while on the front side, a 5-MP camera sensor with adjustable LED flash does the job for fine selfies.
Galaxy J4 also comes with 3000mAh battery unit in black, orchid grey and gold color options. The expected price of the phone in Pakistan will be around PKR 18,000 and this still is quite expensive comparing to what Huawei Y5 Prime 2018 with price tag of PKR 15,000.
However, we’ll have to wait for Samsung Pakistan’s official confirmation of price tags of the upcoming duo in coming days. Stay tuned…
