The South Korean tech giant – Samsung have launched their recent flagship Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus in Pakistan in a glamorous way. The country has never witnessed such an astonishing show on the eve of launch ceremony of a smartphone.
Samsung managed to flaunt their launch ceremony at one of the hottest venue in Lahore, Pakistan. The famous historic Hazoori Bagh witnessed the biggest smartphone launch ever. This is the place that was previously open for state dinners. For instance, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was honoured with the State Dinner here on his last visit to Pakistan.
Various premium mobile phone brands, from Oppo to Huawei, entered Pakistan this year and organized their launch events but no one can compete with the recent ceremony of Galaxy family. Oppo recently launched Oppo F3 Plus and then organized an event to introduce its younger sibling Oppo F3 but we couldn’t see the aura of exclusivity. Also, Huawei which is known for its extravagant mobile phone launches in Pakistan adopted the theme of simplicity while launching Huawei P10.
Another Chinese brand Tecno Mobile paved its way to Pakistan but then again no company has ever come close to securing Hazoori Bagh, a historical heritage site of Pakistan, as the venue of their launch. Undoubtedly, this a message from South Korean company to other smartphone brands that the Samsung is still the number one brand despite its Galaxy Note 7 woes.
