The craze of Galaxy Note 8 is not over yet but the rumors of Galaxy S9 are in full swing. Most of the tech blogs reveal a major design change for the upcoming flagship from Samsung. For instance, an industry insider from China has claimed that Samsung would be rebuilding the rear design of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus, expected to unveil in the first quarter of 2018.
The preceding Galaxy S8 and S8+ experienced a healthy response from Samsung fans and tech critics. However, the placement of fingerprint scanner remained one of the most criticized features of the Galaxy S8 duo. Since it was placed very close to the rear camera, many users mistakenly touch camera lens every time they try to unlock their phone. Possibly to avoid this issue on the Galaxy Note 8, Samsung placed an LED flash unit and the heart rate monitor between the rear camera and fingerprint scanner.
