Samsung – the South Korean tech giant is reportedly working on a smartphone with unique features of quad camera setup. This has been revealed by Ice Universe – one of the most popular leaksters through a recent tweet:

Well, by saying ‘quad camera setup’ it doesn’t mean two cameras on rear and another two on the front as we’ve come across many of the recently launched smartphones such as Vivo X21 and Vivo X23. But it actually means all the four lens affixed on the rear of the device along with some undisclosed arrangement on the front too.

The Ice Universe claims that the phone with rear-mounted quad camera setup is not too far as the Samsung’s Developer Conference in November could be the place to unveil the device. However, it is certainly not the most anticipated ‘foldable smartphone’ by Samsung.

One would be surprising to think of so many cameras on a phone but there will certainly be a large number of powerful apps to make full use of such a huge camera setup including AR gaming capabilities or VR powers to support Samsung Gear VR headset.
