Samsung, the tech giant from South Korea, has unveiled an addition of two high mid-range smartphones to their traditionally budget-minded J series. These are the Samsung J7 Pro and Samsung J7 Max! Both the smartphones are equipped with fairly large displays along with enough dynamism to be challenging in the mid-range category for others.
Samsung has incorporated the new Social Camera app to J7 Pro and J7 Max that allows quick sharing of photos to your closest contacts in social media, apart from offering AR and conventional filters. Apart from this the company has also introduced Samsung Pay to both the mid-range devices.
The Samsung J7 Pro comes with a 5.5″ Super AMOLED display on the front with 1080p resolution whereas the J7 Max features a larger 5.7-inch display, albeit an LCD one, with full HD resolution. Likewise, both the devices come up with metal based design in black and gold colours.
A slight difference lies there in the internal specs both the J7s in that for the J7 Pro, you get an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7870 processor along with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB storage while the J7 Max has an octa-core processor of MediaTek Helio P20 build paired with 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. You have an option to expand storage for both the smartphones by using the microSD card slot.
Samsung J7 Pro and Max feature the Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and the same camera setup. The primary and front cameras sport 13 MP resolution each. The two phones also include an LED flash next to the front camera as well. The two have f/1.9 and f/1.7 apertures, respectively.
We see a little difference in battery features as the J7 Pro uses a large 3600 mAh battery while the J7 Max has a smaller battery unit of 3300 mAh size.
