Sony had unveiled their premium device – Sony XZ Premium at the Mobile World Congress 2017 but since then we have seen a total silence as we still don’t know more about features and price details.
Sony has now announced that the XZ Premium will be launched in the UK markets by the end June 2017; the same month when we may see Nokia brand in Pakistan once again.
It has also been revealed that the device will be made available in black and chrome colours along with another colour option of Bronze Pink in select markets.
Features Revealed So Far
Let me summarize what we know so far about this elegant device.
Sony XZ Premium will be the first smartphone ever to feature a 4K HDR screen and the fastest processor ever, the Snapdragon 835. The premium Qualcomm chipset has yet been included in the newly released Galaxy S8 and Xiaomi Mi6.
The XZ premium will also come with a 4GB RAM and a 19MP camera capable of shooting slow motion videos at a rate of 960fps.
The slow motion camera will also be an industry first but we may see the inclusion of this technology in other smartphone brands as Sony is working with many other such as Oppo to help them introduce devices like the dual selfie camera Oppo F3 Plus.
There is no word on the pricing yet, but the inclusion of a load of high-end specs means the device will be in the premium bracket.
