Apple is continuously being rumoured to introduce triple camera setup in the upcoming iPhone models. As reported earlier, we’ll see next iPhone series in three different variants including a cheaper, “budget” version with a smaller size and price tag.

Meanwhile, some phone case makers and renowned market analysts have come up with detailed schematics of this year’s iPhone lineup. The top-end flagship iPhone X Plus or whatever the name may be, to feature a triple camera setup this time; following the footprints of Huawei’s P20 Pro that was the first smartphone to feature this extraordinary camera setup.

Upcoming iPhone Series – Detailed Blueprints

We are talking about a detailed schematics of the upcoming iPhone model shared by Gordon Kelly – a Forbes contributor and Ghostek – a phone case maker. As we know, there will be a 6.5-inch display ‘iPhone X Plus’ having an OLED display, triple camera setup and top-of-the-range hardware. The other is a cheaper 6.1-inch model with an IPS LCD and is expected to come with a single camera on rear.

Here are the blueprints, take a look for yourself below:

It is evident that the low-end model looks quite similar to last year’s iPhone X in terms of notch and bezel size. However, the Cupertino based tech giant is reportedly trimming down the bezels even further for its top of the line flagship phone, in order to achieve a higher screen to body ratio. As there is no indication of a cutout for a fingerprint scanner, it is likely to have an in-display sensor as an additional unlock method besides FaceID.

Upcoming iPhone Series – Rumored Specs

The 6.5-inch iPhone, according to noted market analysts, will have an OLED panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The display size is going up, due to reduced bezels, but the dimensions are more compact than the current iPhone 8 Plus at 157.2 x 77.1 mm.

The 6.1-inch iPhone will have an IPS LCD panel, a single camera lens – instead of dual or triple configurations – and will run iPhone X’s Face ID 1.0. The ‘budget’ version, that should retail close to $700, won’t have 3D Touch and will also come with less powerful hardware.

As for the third iPhone model, it is reported to look like exactly the same as the current iPhone X, although with more powerful internal hardware. Not to mention that Apple has already been rumored to introduce aggressive price cut for the upcoming iPhone models as compared to the previous ones.
