One of the reasons of Apple’s popularity is its high-tech smartphone series – iPhone that has seen the 10th anniversary model iPhone X with the most advanced features and being the most expensive one. We consider the higher price tags as a barrier for iPhone to reach maximum customers but do you remember the iPhone SE?
If not, let me refresh your memory as the iPhone SE was a smartphone that is considered to be an exception to all the iPhone devices launched so far. Firstly, it was releases at the start of 2016 while all other iPhones are launched in September or October every year. Secondly, it was a cheaper and trimmed down iPhone so that more people can enjoy Apple products.
IPhone SE 2 – Expected Features
Although Apple did not release a successor to the iPhone SE as yet but it looks like the company is finally gearing up to bring the iPhone SE 2 after 2 years of original iPhone SE. We are quite sure of iPhone SE 2 launch because of several reports encircling tech blogs, the latest one claiming the phone to get surface in first quarter of 2018. It means we are just 4 months away from the iPhone SE 2 at max. Isn’t it great to feel?
The rumors suggest the SE 2 bring a smaller display of 4-inch in size; though some reports suggest a 4.2-inch screen. However, the display resolution may not see any improvement to the original iPhone SE. As it will be a cheaper iPhone, so one may not expect the latest hardware or advanced display features. It is expected to feature an Apple A10 chipset; the same one used in iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
The phone’s camera is also expected to get a major upgrade and it will also be capable of making at least 2160p@30fps videos and will come with iOS 11 out of the box. Keeping the Apple’s support strategy in mind, we can say for sure that the device will be supported for software updates for at least 4 years. Interestingly, the device will be manufactured in India and will be sold worldwide.
