Huawei, the Chinese tech giant is all set to unveil the premiere triple camera setup with the upcoming flagship device Huawei P20 on March 27th at a dedicated event in Paris. As we are getting closer to the launch date, new leaks and teasers are getting surfaced through apparently official means. The most recent being a set of promo images and a pair of short video clips highlighting the triple camera setup of the device.

As you know, Huawei’s upcoming P-series smartphone kept on appearing in leaks probably more than Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Earlier the name mystery grabbed our attention, whether it’s being P11 or P20 but the later one is officially confirmed by now. Meanwhile, the camera arrangement has also become another mystery as the promo images display vertical arrangement while the video clips showcase something different.

Huawei P20 Promo with Triple Camera Setup

A Dutch site has gathered two official-looking promo images for the alleged Huawei P20. The leaked images showcase the smartphone with dazzling triple camera setup on the back and an iPhone X-style notch in a smaller size on the front.

While looking at the above images, doesn’t make it clear whether those are Huawei P20 or Huawei P20 Pro but the two color options (Black and Blue) pointing it being the Pro variant. Well, don’t worry as these two will not be the ultimate color options considering the predecessors where Huawei P10 brought at least 6 color variants in the end.

Huawei P20 – Official Video Teasers

Besides the Dutch leak discussed above, here comes a pair of official video teasers shared by Huawei’s twitter handle making those as the official confirmation of the design features related to Huawei P20 Pro.

The first teaser, embedded below, reveals the silhouette of one of the P20 phones which we think is actually the Huawei P20 Pro.

Well, the key info the video reveals is about the arrangement of the triple camera setup. All the leaks we have seen until this moment have shown vertical arrangement of the premiere triple camera setup for the P20 series, whereas this becomes the first teaser that showcases cameras positioned horizontally.

Coming to the second video, the heading grabs our attention that says, “We’ve gone the extra distance so you can take the shortcut. All the lenses you need, in one.” In fact the last sentence is an important one.

Then the first two seconds of the video shows only two cameras with one being significantly larger than the other. We guess the second rear camera combines two different types of lenses in one; probably a telephoto lens and a wide-angle one.

This is our understanding of those teaser videos that might be proven incorrect. Do post your views and understanding in the Comment Section below.
