Uber, an app-based taxi-hailing service, is getting popularity in the masses as well as for the owners to get a handsome amount in their pockets while driving their own cars.
The Uber service was initially launched in Lahore last year then expanded their business to Karachi and most recently to Rawalpindi/ Islamabad. The cab market of twin cities was previously dominated by Careem, the UAE-based ride-sharing company.
Uber is all set to launch Uber Hyderabad on May 4, 2017. It was revealed by the company’s official Facebook page and widely welcome from the people of second largest city of Sindh province – Hyderabad. Uber will likely offer free rides to the citizens of Hyderabad as it always does when it launches in new cities.
If you’ve still not enjoyed the services, you can get a free first ride by using the promo codes: GOLAHORE or GOKARACHI. Moreover, if you’re a driver and want to join Uber or Careem, you can sign up via an easy procedure. Both Uber and Careem want to offer the cheapest rides to their consumers.
The app-based taxi-hailing business is growing day by day in Pakistan and a local competitor, Jazz mLift, has also entered the market with service in Islamabad at the moment. In a country where more than 70% people use feature phone having no access to internet or apps, the Jazz mLift can get huge response.
