Here comes good news for Islamabad and Rawalpindi as Uber starts their operation in twin cities from today. This was officially disclosed in a post published on Uber’s blog:
“We are thrilled to announce uberGO is now available in Islamabad, connecting Pakistan’s twin cities to safe, reliable, and affordable rides”
Looks like Careem is not the only player in Islamabad and Rawalpindi anymore, as the newly entered Uber can start price wars in the mobile based cab service category.
This competition is obvious from their new promotion where customers can ride for FREE this weekend (from 12 pm Thursday, April 27th until 11:59 pm Sunday, April 30th).
To avail FIVE FREE RIDES worth Rs. 250 each, open Uber app on your smartphone and enter the promo code “UBERLOVESISB.
The process should be familiar to anyone who has ever used a ride sharing service. When you book a ride through Uber, you will be able to see your driver’s photo, the license plate, type of car and even follow its progress on the app as it makes its way towards you.
“Share my ETA” allows you to tell your family and friends exactly where you are and how long it will take to get to them.
