Uber Pakistan has announced revised rates of Uber Mini, Auto and Go rides for Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. While customers of the ride-hailing service might be unhappy with the increasing prices, Uber says that they have increased their prices in order to keep their drivers and partners happy and to ensure that they earn a sustainable living through working with Uber.

The market experts say that the current hike in the Uber rates is a result of fluctuations in the dollar and petrol pricing. However, Uber Pakistan says that they are revising their fare rates to ensure the ride experience is “seamless” and maintain a certain quality of the rides.
