Uber, the ride-hailing app, has announced the arrival of UberMOTO – a bike hailing service, in Karachi via its official Twitter account. Uber customers can now avail more economical and swift way of app based ride hailing to move around. UberMOTO started its operation in Lahore last month.

According to details shared by Uber on its official blog page, the UberMOTO will enable commuters to travel at much cheaper rates of Rs. 5.15 per kilometre while the base fare is set to Rs. 25 only. That means if you travel 1 KM in one minute, you will be charged with the minimum fare of Rs. 40.

Uber continues to showcase its reinforced commitment to Pakistan, developing a range of services to meet riders, drivers and cities’ needs and standards. However, the bikers being the male segment of our society only, the female passengers would certainly opt for a rickshaw or car instead of traveling at the back of a motorbike with an unknown man.
