Vivo, the Chinese manufacturer, gradually starts grabbing Pakistani market with its selfie-focused smartphones. We have already seen the Vivo V7+ having gigantic 24MP lens at the front. The brand has now officially launched Vivo V7 with the same 24MP front shooter, FullView display and triple card slot for two nano-SIMs and a MicroSD card but with lower price tag.

The Vivo V7 is a dual SIM supported smartphone by default that runs on Funtouch 3.2, based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. The smartphone has a 5.7 inches screen with an HD+ resolution of 720×1440 pixels. An IPS LCD panel with a ratio of 18:9 is featured in this phone. Vivo V7 has Cortex A53 octa core CPU and Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset with clocking speed of 1.8 GHz.

The phone supports 4 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32 GB along with a dedicated SD card slot that can be used to expand memory up to 256 GB. The vivo V7 is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.

On the rear, you’ll find a 16 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, while at the front comes a 24 MP camera. This features VivoFace Access technology (also seen on V7+) for unlocking the device, as well as Smart Beauty 7.0, which “brightens up selfies and creates a more even complexion,” according to Vivo.

Pricing and Availability

Vivo V7 has been made available in China and Indonesia in first phase in two colours; Champagne Gold and Matte Black, priced at $300 (~PKR 31,600). However, we expect to see V7 in Pakistan very soon as we’ve seen Vivo V7+ enjoying record-breaking first-week sales when it was launched in Pakistan.
