Vivo has thrashed the tech town with its innovative concepts and designs coming one after the other. Earlier, the Chinese tech giant surprised everyone by introducing a bezel-free smartphone Vivo X20 Plus UD with in-display fingerprint sensor. Later, the company took things to the next level and launched an all-screen smartphone with pop-up selfie cam – Vivo NEX.

Although, both these handsets remained China-specific so far but the latest reports reveal that things are about to be changed for the latter one. Vivo has decided to launch the Vivo NEX to more emerging Asian markets including India, Russia, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan by the end of this month. Although not officially announced but we anticipate to see this innovative gadget entering other Asian markets like Pakistan and Indonesia as well.

About Vivo NEX

Not to mention, the Vivo NEX is considered a unique concept for its standalone features like 6.6-inch bezel-less screen and 91.2% screen-to-body ratio. The phone doesn’t have any speaker grille, any buttons on the screen or any sensors for the front-facing camera on the top of the display. Instead, the selfie camera only slides out from the top when a user wants to use it.

Furthermore, Vivo has increased the fingerprint scanner size and now the bottom half of the screen can recognize your fingerprints. We have a dual camera setup on the back that offers 24MP shots. While the front 8 MP sliding camera works well for selfies.

As for the pricing of Vivo NEX is concerned, it costs CNY 3,898 (~$590, PKR 71,800) in China. However, it may have even higher price tag for Pakistan, considering the tax ratio in the country. Even though, we advise you to keep a minimum of Rs. 75,000 in your wallet if you’re thinking for the Vivo NEX in coming days.
