Vivo NEX is the hot topic for techies and smartphone enthusiasts for its truly bezelless design and revolutionized pop-up selfie camera. As the phone gets nearer to its launch date, more features are storming the tech blogs.

It was originally planned to be a ‘concept phone’ to serve as a reference, but Vivo is going to launch the phone for the public soon. Meanwhile, its specifications along with some new pictures have also been surfaced; hours ahead of its official release.

The company’s first truly bezel-free smartphone was earlier announced to be called Vivo APEX but the recent reports claim a slight change in its brand name as it may be called Vivo NEX. The phone is likely to feature a unique design, leaving Xiaomi’s Mi Mix series behind in terms of screen-to-body ratio.

About Vivo NEX

The Vivo NEX will reportedly be launched in three different variants – NEX, NEX S and NEX A; with the NEX S being the top of the line. As the smartphone nears its official release date, the company has started preparing promotional material such as posters and vouchers.

A Chinese leaker managed to get his hands on a poster and has shared some images of the Vivo NEX on the web. Interestingly, the leaked poster showcases a device with mighty 6.59-inch display instead of 5.99-inch OLED panel that was reported for Vivo APEX earlier.

The poster also reveals a huge memory combo of 8GB RAM and 256GB native storage along with a Snapdragon 845 processor that powers up the device. It also does mention an automatic pop-up camera and AI assistant.

Alongside the leaked specs, we’ve come across somewhat official by Vivo as the company released a set of teasers highlighting the gorgeous display and AI features of the phone.

Stay tuned as Vivo APEX will become official on June 12th and we’ll share the official specs sheet with you by then.
