Smartphones are used extensively to store huge volume of data and sometimes the native memory seems not enough to fulfil users’ needs. That is why manufacturers go with an option to use external storage; mainly through a microSD card that provides an easy way to create, store and share more photos, videos and to download music and other applications.
If you still feel uncomfortable with the currently available 400GB external storage device, here comes good news for you as a UK based company Integral Memory is all set to surprise you in external storage capacity with its 512GB microSD card. This half a terabyte card has the largest storage capacity till now-without the worry of running out of storage space anymore.
James Danton, the Marketing Manager of Integral Memory, says in a press release:
Consumers have been clear in their call for increased storage, as mobile devices have become essential to many in everyday life. The need to provide extended memory for smartphones, tablets and a growing range of other mobile devices such as action cams and drones has been answered. As a company, we are very proud to be the first to achieve the 512GB capacity milestone in microSDXC, worldwide.
This 512GB microSD is compatible with latest smartphones, tablets, cameras and drones ensuring smooth video especially if you are trying to record in full HD or a 4K video. The card also enables fast data transfer of Video Speed Class 10 (V10) standard with a speed of 90MB per second; though a bit lower than the Sandisk’s 400GB microSD card that runs at 100MB per second.
Though, the 512GB microSD card is announced with a 5-year official warranty by Integral Memory but no words on official release date and price tag as of today. However, the card is expected to be launched next month.
